Our pre-k program is currently enrolling children for the 2018-2019 School Year. We are enrolling children who turn four by August 1st, 2018 and will be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2019. Our program is designed to prepare your child for Kindergarten through activities that advance exploration, social-emotional learning, cognitive development, creative expression, gross and fine motor skills, early reading and writing skills, and imaginative play in a structured daily routine.
Using a positive learning environment with a focus on children’s individual skills and interests, the class schedule allows for ample free choice center time, rest time, indoor and outdoor play, and small group time with stories, songs and finger plays. Children will have the opportunity to rotate through different interest centers such as art center, dramatic play, exploration, math and writing, and construction centers. We serve a healthy snack each morning, and children will enjoy a lunch brought from home with their classmates. Field trips to local attractions are incorporated into the curriculum and a big part of children's learning experience!

The 700-square foot pre-k classroom has a large open-feel with plenty of natural light and wall-length mirrors to create an environment conducive to learning. The materials and furniture in the classroom are set up into several learning centers with a homey and calming atmosphere. Each child will have their own in-classroom cubby space to keep their belongings.
Pre-k students will have access our 2800 square-foot gym to participate in gross motor activities and games. The gym is set up to encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and cooperation. It has a large matted area for high-energy play and a concreted area for table activities, basketball, four-square, and other active play games.
Our custom-designed outdoor play space encourages interaction with the natural environment and imaginative play. The outdoor area is completely fenced and has a custom-built large wooden playhouse and arch bridge with a gravel and sand box on each side. Children take out outdoor toys each day such as jump ropes, balls, and hula hoops. As part of our continued plans to invest in our program and facility, this area will include an outdoor kitchen, picnic tables, and large mounted chalkboards in the future.
iNFiNiTi Pre-K uses the D.I.G. Curriculum through Abrams Learning. The curriculum incorporates Core learning concepts. Classroom learning is supplemented by field trips to local museums, parks, and attractions.

Our curriculum uses hand on experiences, clearly defined goals, ongoing and individualized assessment, and offers an online community for parent/teacher interaction. Weekly newsletters and communications help bridge the gap between home and school. Teachers are trained on implementing this curriculum and the curriculum is formed alongside the Kindergarten Readiness indicators to prepare your child for Kindergarten.
Our facility is licensed through the Department of Human Resources, and we follow all minimum licensing regulations for childcare centers in Arkansas. Our teachers are carefully selected professionals who undergo criminal and child maltreatment background checks upon employment. They participate in monthly staff meetings and receive 15 hours of continuing education each year. They are CPR and First Aid certified.
